Here are some helpful tidbits that might come in handy.
Put three Alka-Seltzer tablets down the kitchen sink followed by a cup of white vinegar. Leave for a few minutes then run hot water. It cleans the pipes
Four tablets in the toilet will bring your bowl up sparkling clean. Leave for an hour and then brush
Spilled water all over a couple books my solution I put baby power in between each page while they dried worked like a charm
Knots in your kids shoelaces? Shake a little talcum powder or corn starch on knotted shoelaces and the knots will pull apart more easily
Place a sheet of plastic wrap over the pages of a cookbook; this way it avoids spills and splatters right on the pages! When finished, you simply dispose of the plastic wrap
Got paint brushes crusted with dried acrylic paint? Dip them in Pine-Sol it dissolves the paint almost instantly
Soak a cotton ball in white vinegar and apply it to the bruise for 1 hour. The vinegar reduces the blueness and speeds up the healing process
